Here’s how to make comics with some basic classroom tools!

  1. [5 MIN] 🗺️SURVEY MATERIALS: What are we making comics about? Brainstorm & decide…
  2. [10 MIN] ✏️PENCIL IDEAS: Set a goal & draw something in each panel/page.
  3. [10 MIN] ✒️EDIT & INK: Firm up whatever you have on the page. (Conferencing optional — You might not have time in a “Quick-Draw”!)
  4. [5 MIN] 📖SHARE: with a partner, or with the whole group. The results are NOT perfect — In fact, they may just be a start on a more complete project.
