Community Conversations💬PRINTABLE BOOKLETS

<<COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS

Here’s how program hosts can use their printable sketchbooks:

  1. 📖Keep some printed copies on display at your community center, so that…
    • Event participants can review & reflect on the conversation.
    • Community members who could not attend the event can still see the results & reflect on the process.
  2. 🖼️Print out booklet pages at full-page or poster size (11″x17″) to display on walls or bulletin boards. Include a blank poster or whiteboard for readers to contribute their thoughts & reflections.
  3. 📚Bring some copies to the town library
    • Post a note or sign saying, “Do you have thoughts about community in [TOWN NAME]?  Give this a read & then contact [COMMUNITY CENTER] to get involved.”
    • Do the same thing at more libraries if you want to serve a broader area (like the Mount Washington Valley).
  4. 📰Offer a relevant page or image to your local newspaper, along with a story about how your Community Conversation went. (You can do the same later, with the follow up project.)
  5. 💬Use the sketchbook to host a book discussion group.  People can pre-read the sketchbook, and then gather to talk further about their ideas of community.
  6. 📘Share a copy of the sketchbook with local schools — Teachers may might wish to use it in a variety of ways:
    • 4th grade classes studying NH history
    • Art classes studying sketchbook techniques
    • Language classes looking for an engaging way to document & expand on conversations
