We have been watched the Ken Burns documentary on the Revolution and they talked about the exact same things! As a result of your work, that of Ken, I am now reading Simon Schma’s hefty book about the Revolution, which as someone said on the documentary was, in sorts, a cival war – Brits against Brits!
And I really like what Abigail Adams says! A lot. I am going to have to find a book about her, too!
Can’t wait to see the new Burns film… The 7 years war was in actually one of the first truly GLOBAL world wars. That’s why this episode, ahem, issue is “North America” — We have several more planned issues in the works!
