Dear Marek, Be careful about putting teabags in compost. What your poster says is true: paper tea bags ARE compostable. However, most teabags have some plastic in them. I find them years later in my compost. You can contact the tea company and they will let you know about the materials the teabags are made of.

I compost paper tea bags in my pile & they definitely break down quickly. It is indeed important to learn more about these materials & to pay close attention to their effects on our compost communities. ~ M
