What makes something a ‘graphic novel’?”

(A) To me, ‘graphic novel’ is a publishing term that helps bookstores organize merchandise. It just means “a comic book with lots & lots of pages.” It DOES NOT necessarily mean a “novel,” & it can be ANY topic, theme, or genre — Just as long as the MEDIUM is comics (or comics-like)!
