“Lately I’ve felt like my head has been slowly filling up with one piece of bad news after another, day after day. Ugh! Then, one fine spring morning in Vermont, after a run-in with a library full of puppets, I knew what I had to do… Every day since, I stop & draw out one experience that I want to remember. It doesn’t have to be something especially important – often it’s something pretty simple. Something quick, small, basic, grounding, REAL… These things are all wondrous when we draw them. There, I feel better already.
