The 16-PAGER is my favorite way to share full stories as mini-comics…
✔ Longer than a 1-SHEET!
✔ Fits on a single piece of paper!
MATERIALS:
- Printed 16-PAGER mini (SAMPLES HERE)
- Stapler (preferably long-arm)
- Scissors (or paper cutter)
HOW TO FOLD A PRINTED “16-PAGER” SHEET:
FOLD:
- START with a printed 16-PAGER sheet
- Find the front cover (p.01) & back cover (p.16).
- Find the fold lines (marked by lines w/ 1 and 2 dots).
STAPLE:
- STAPLE twice along the spine, w/ book open + cover up (saddle-stitch).
- TIP: The sharp bent ends of the staples should be visible at the centerfold of the book, between pages 8-9.
- TIP: If you DO NOT have a long-arm stapler, you can fold the BACK COVER back on itself to help a short stapler reach the spine.
TRIM:
- TRIM the TOP and OUTER EDGE of the booklet, so that ALL pages are now visible to flip through.
- TIP: Use a paper-cutter for super-straight edges.
